Girls Camp Reminder

Hello! Just reminding everyone about girls camp. It will be the 20th through the 23rd of June. This year is a stake girls camp. The theme is Boot Camp! Girl's camps are always fun, spiritual, and a great experience. Our leaders put a lot of time and effort into it, and we hope that you can all make it!

Welcome!

We are so excited to have a new beehive, Sophia Morrill, come into the beehives! We all hope that she feels welcome and has a splendid time.

Handout Boxes.....

A couple of weeks ago we made these darling handout boxes.. for all of our handouts etc.... They turned out beautifully !

Sunday

HAIR NIGHT !

For our Young Womens we had a HAIR NIGHT !!! The Laurels came very prepared to do the Beehives/Mia-Maids who where there ! It was tons of fun and our hair turned out FABULOUS !

Wednesday

Cooking Activity

This weeks Young Women acticity was very interesting. We were suppose to make taffy but lets just say it didnt really look like taffy ! But we all had tons of fun and a good turnout !

One little, two little, three little Beehives ...

.....and the song ends "Ten Little Beehive Girls!" Yes! We are so excited when we get so many of these sweet girls out to mutual. They have so much fun together, and they are excellent planners and organizers as we prepare for this weekend's Olympic Carnival. Everyone is soooo excited to see the final product--games, decorations and costumes! Can't wait!

Saturday

ABC's

Shopping with five Beehives is always an adventure. Even if you go in the store with a specific task in mind and a list of exactly what you need....there is bound to be a few detours along the way. The Decoration Committee (for the Harvest Festival) recently went to lunch and shopping for decorations. Throughout the party store and the dollar store, there were many....diversions... to deal with. Good thing Heather always has her camera in her purse to capture our ABC's (Amusing Beehive Commotion)!

Good. Sports.

Okay, so we probably aren't heading to the US Olympic Volleyball Team trials anytime soon, but...gosh! When we are all this cute, we don't have to be great athletes too! Our leaders are so proud of us, and the Beehives have pretty much carried our volleyball team this year. Good job, girls, for sacrificing your Saturday mornings to come out and play! You are all champions!

At the Cabin

Gas to drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon to Wright's cabin: $10.00
Pizza for 10 hungry girls for dinner: $30.00
Watching your leaders draw their names with their...uh..bottoms: Priceless!

We had a great time at Carla's cabin, eating, playing games, working on Personal Progress, and preparing for the Harvest Festival. Carla, Tonya, Heather, and Karen all spent the night with us too! Just for the record, this slideshow below doesn't actually contain the moving footage of Carla and Tonya "dancing" their name, but who knows when and where that film may actually show up???
